What to Know Before Delivery
Building Permits
The customer is fully responsible for checking local building requirements to see if any permits are required to construct the steel building.
Site Preparation
Prior to the install of your steel building, it is crucial to ensure your site is level. We recommend the ground be level within 4" front to back and side to side. Improperly prepared sites may delay the setup or construction of your structure and result in additional fees.
Lift Rentals
Any steel building 32ft or wider and/or any steel building 15ft and taller require a lull lift rental. The customer will need to provide a lift for the installation. The lift must be a telescopic forklift, such as a lull lift, with a minimum capacity of 6,000 lbs. and a reach of 10ft more than the height of the building. Lifts are required due to trusses and sidewalls being much heavier for buildings this size.
